Oil pump conversion kit to the adustable version with .325" 7T sprocket for Stihl 024 MS 240
This conversion kit consists of the following components (see also article photos):
- .325" sprocket with needle bearing
- oil pump
- worm gear for oil pump
- 1 upper oil hose
- 1 lower oil hose
- oil filter
- sprocket washer
- sprocket circlip
- crankshaft sleeve
- crankshaft washer
This kit enables you to change from an unadjustable oil pump (old version) to an adjustable oil pump (new version). Please note that the new oil pump is of a different design (adjustment screw). Therefore, you may have to make minor changes to the housing of your chainsaw.
The new pump has a different design because of the adjustment screw. The housing has to be adapted there (e.g. with a Dremel). In addition, a hole must be drilled downwards to regulate the oil flow.
This kit can also be fitted if the adjustable oil pump was previously fitted.
