Carburator fits Stihl 017 MS170
This carburettor can replace the Walbro and Zama carburettors if no compensator connector has been installed. If a compensator connector had been installed, you will need the following carburettor: 18574AR3158.
If the holes required for adjustment do not exist, simply drill the corresponding holes in the bonnet and handle tube to install the carburettor.
This carburettor has a clear advantage over a carburettor with a single adjustment screw since the adjustment range is much greater.
Fits only the old version.
You can easily distinguish the new version from the old one watching the third picture.
The old version of the hood has a flap twist lock while the new version has a round one.
We advise you to renew the carburetor if it is no longer possible to adjust it easily. In addition, it is recommended to change the crankshaft sealing rings to achieve an exact adjustment.
