PFERD file handle sharpening gauge universal chainsaw file set

Here you will find various round files, an ergonomic file handle and a sharpening gauge in two versions (sharpening angle 25° / 30° and 30° / 35°). Simply select the desired article or set from the menu on the right.

We recommend the following files for the corresponding pitch mentioned:

- 3.2 mm file: 1/4" LP and 3/8" LP
- 4.0 mm file: 1/4" and .325" 1,1 mm
- 4.5 mm file: 3/8" 1.1 mm and 1.3 mm LP
- 4.8 mm file: .325" 1.1 mm, 1.3 mm, 1.5 mm and 1.6 mm
- 5.2 mm file: 3/8" 1.5 mm and 1.6 mm
- 5.5 mm File: .404"

The round files are of high quality and have a very long service life for an optimal sharpening result. Here we have a strong and even material removal from the beginning to the end.

These round chainsaw files are ideal for sharpening chainsaw chains and are also suitable for the following materials:

- Aluminium
- Bronze

- Brass
- Zinc
- Grey cast iron - steels up to 1200 N/mm² (<38 HRC)
- Cast steel

PFERD FH1 Ergonomic File Handle

- Suitable for file lengths of 200 mm (working length: 150 mm)
- Total length: approx. 120 mm
- Maximum diameter: approx. 31 mm

This Ergo file handle has an excellent grip for round files of various sizes.

With large rounded contact surfaces for a firm grip and a square neck to prevent the file from turning.

The file handle is characterised by a hard, stable inner part that is covered with a soft synthetic material. No plasticizers are used in the manufacturing process.

Grinding gauge with 25° / 30° or 30° / 35° grinding angle from PFERD

The chainsaw sharpening gauge allows you to obtain a uniform sharpening result by specifying the correct sharpening angle.

It is attached to the end of the FH1 ergonomic file handle.
