Cylinder kit (old version) fits Stihl 017 MS 170
Only suitable to the old version.
You can distinguish the new and the old version by having a look on the second item picture.
The old version has got a longer cap.
The new version has got a round cap.
Cylinder kit includes: cylinder 37mm, piston, two piston rings, two piston clips and piston pin.
As there are 2 old versions (version manufactured during the period from 2000 to around 2014 or the oldest one before the year 2000), you have to watch the third picture for comparison.
The old version is easily recognizable by the interval between the fastening holes of the ignition. This one should be of about 33 mm.
If the interval on the old cylinder is of 33 mm, this new cylinder can be installed.
If there is an interval of 39 mm between the fastening holes, you will also need the following parts:
Magnetic flywheel AR1339
Ignition AR1342
No original Stihl spare part.
